A new model for 2021, the KTM 890 Adventure takes the lightweight and sporty characteristics you’d expect from the Austrian brand to deliver a supremely capable adventure tourer. It does this both on and off the tarmac. The new 889cc compact engine raises performance figures to 105 hp and 100 Nm of torque and that extra rotating mass of the crankshaft brings an improved feeling at low revs while adding traction through corners. The new bike comes with a refined and stronger clutch to cope with the boosted performance and the powerplant is fully Euro5 compliant.

A new WP ‘Apex’ rear shock offers greater adjustability and performance potential thanks to a new rebound damping adjuster as well as an additional hand adjuster for spring preload. The suspension matches the rest of the chassis configuration by putting the bike right between the blacktop and the gravel. For the latter there is 200mm of suspension travel! Dakar Rally-inspired ergonomics means the bike is comparably slim, it’s light and manageable, an accessible seat height, a 20-litre tank and KTM navigation. The Adventure comes with a full-size TFT dashboard, cornering ABS, Traction Control and Motor Slip Regulation. The seat height is adjustable in two heights and it’ll take a pillion with ease.
