Ducati have made a staggering 350,000 Monsters since they were first launched in the early nineties. Now this totally new Monster represents all of what is Ducati in the lightest, most compact and stylish form possible. The recipe is the original 1993 one: a sporty engine, but perfect for road use. This is a bike that’s all you’ll need to have fun on. The Superbike derived frame comes with an aluminium front which keeps the dry weight to a featherweight 166kg. 

Lightness is key to a bike that’s easy to ride, whilst still being fast and above all fun. It’s got narrow sides and front frame that finishes in line with the vertical head. This makes it easier to put your feet on the ground with the motorcycle at a standstill. Indeed, the new Monster sports a design which features simple lines, an engine, a seat, a fuel tank and a set of handlebars. The power comes from the renowned Testastretta 937 cc twin cylinder engine, with desmodromic valve distribution and future proof Euro 5 homologation. The new bike gains displacement, power, torque and loses 2.4 kilos in weight. It now puts out 111 hp and 95 nm of torque.
