Benelli upgraded its renowned lightweight streetfighter platform by outfitting it with a redesigned, technologically advanced four-stroke single-cylinder motor for high-revving good times. Working in perfect synchronization with its already brilliant Italian red steel trellis chassis and race-derived front and rear suspension, the bike transforms city traffic into mobile chicanes. The featherweight street fighter category has just been upgraded to the next level. The BN 125s air cooled engine puts out 11,1 hp at a heady 9500 rpm and maximum torque of 10 Nm at 7000 rpm. The power is delivered through a five-speed gearbox.
Once you’ve gotten going you’ll eventually have to stop again. To that end stopping the BN 125 is Benelli’s braking system. This is a system that gives maximum safety thanks to a steel 260mm diameter disc at the front with 3-piston calipers with combined braking system. At the rear the bike uses a 240mm diameter disc with a two-piston calliper. The 17″ front wheel in aluminum alloy mounts a 110/80 section tyre and the rear takes a 130/70. Suspension consists of 35mm upside-down front forks, and a rear swingarm with a central shock absorber with spring preload adjustment. It all sits in a beautiful trestle frame in steel tubes.
