Five years after the launch of the original Tracer 900, Yamaha has created all-new versions of the ultimate multi-role motorcycle. Now the bike is lighter, more powerful and supremely versatile. It’s also equipped with the most sophisticated technology ever seen on a Yamaha Sport Touring machine. Powering the all-new TRACER 9 is a completely re-designed 889cc CP3 crossplane technology engine. It’s lighter, more powerful and more advanced than the original powerplant. The crossplane architecture lays the foundations for a completely new engine. Fully EU5-compliant, the sophisticated new inline 3-cylinder engine features an increased capacity of 890cc.

The electronics package is very impressive with a new traction control system, a slide control system and even a front wheel lift control system. All three can be configured through 48 different combinations from a toggle on the handlebars. The bike is also fitted with a 2-mode brake control system as well as a choice of four riding modes and a cruise control option.  Then there’s the GT version which comes with all of the above as well as electronic semi-active suspension from KYB, a quick shifter, LED cornering lights and a pair of heated grips. Touring has never looked so attractive!
